Manual-assembly knock-down scaffolding (MKS)

0 out of 5

Manual-assembly knock-down scaffolding (MKS) scaffolding is used in the construction of load-bearing horizontal formwork elements, as well as in the construction of supports and root blocks. MKS scaffolding is also used in the assembly of aqueducts, various scaffolds, temporary supports, and auxiliary structures used in the construction of bridges, tunnels, and other structures.

Depending on the tasks set, it is possible to assemble not only local auxiliary supports from the sets of manual-assembly knock-down scaffolding, but also to form large-sized arrays of bearing scaffolds.

Manual-assembly knock-down scaffolding consist of steel poles with a circular cross-section and horizontal and diagonal braces. Pole pipes have a diameter of 89 mm and wall thickness of 5 mm.

This system can withstand axle loads of up to 20 tonnes with a pole height of 20 m.

As agreed with the customer, scaffolds can be painted in any color or subjected to anti-corrosion treatment.

Description

GAMMA® MKS bridge support scaffolding

Technocom-BM is engaged in the production and sale of MKS bridge supporting scaffolding and offers MKS elements for rent.

GAMMA® MKS is manual-assembly knock-down scaffolding designed for the use as load-bearing elements of horizontal formwork for monolithic reinforced concrete poles and spans, as well as temporary poles and working scaffolds, when erecting poles and root blocks. Manual assembly allows using inventory scaffolds at facilities where the use of lifting and transport mechanisms for some reason is impossible or associated with high costs.

Manual-assembly knock-down scaffolding is a versatile solution for a number of tasks. It can be used for the assembly of local auxiliary supports or formation of large-sized arrays of load-bearing scaffolds.

СApplication

GAMMA® MKS bridge support scaffolds manufactured by Technocom-BM are used by our customers for the assembly of aqueducts, various scaffolds, temporary supports and auxiliary structures in the construction of bridges, tunnels, and other structures.

Мостовые опорные леса «ГАММА® ИПРС» производства «Техноком-БМ» применяются нашими клиентами при сборке акведуков, различных подмостей, временных опор и вспомогательных конструкций при строительстве мостов, тоннелей и других сооружений.

Specifications of GAMMA® MKS

  • Construction module — 1,250 m;
  •  The maximum height of the assembled structure is 12 m (the structure configuration is determined by the Method Statement for a particular facility);
  • The maximum slope of the support platform with the use of the upper jacks is 4%;
  • The maximum design force per pole is 20 tf;
  • The maximum weight of the mounting element is 160 kg;
  • The maximum design force for lattice elements (by attachment): compression/tension is 2 tf.

Manual-assembly knock-down scaffolding consist of steel poles with a circular cross-section and horizontal and diagonal braces. The poles are made of pipes in accordance with GOST 10704-91 “Electric-welded steel pipes”.

 The maximum permissible axial load on the elements of GAMMA® MKS is determined by calculation when drawing up the MS based on the range of elements.

The pole length options are 1,250 mm, 2500 mm, and 625 mm. The pole pipe diameter is 89 mm and the wall thickness is 5 mm. The poles are equipped at the ends with flanges with bolt holes for interconnection. The size of the upper flange is 280×280 mm, the lower flange is 150×150 mm. Along the perimeter of the upper flange, there are holes for fastening horizontal braces at the joint of the poles. Also, the poles have gussets with bolt holes located in two mutually perpendicular planes for fastening horizontal and diagonal braces or separate diaphragms.

Braces are made of pipes of circular cross-section with a diameter of 53 mm and have lugs at the ends with a hole for a single-shear bolt connection for attaching to the gusset plates with an overlap.

The elements are connected with high-strength bolts with a diameter of 20 mm, tightened with an ordinary wrench with a torque of about 20-30 kgf.m without the treatment of the contact surfaces and without controlling the tension.

At a pole height of 20 meters, the structure can withstand loads of up to 20 tons per axle.
