Kotelniki is the starting terminal station of the south-eastern radius of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line of the Moscow Metro, located after the existing Zhulebino station, which is to be open in August 2015. The station is located in the territory of Kotelniki town in the Moscow region (Opytnoye Pole microdistrict) with exits to the Vykhino-Zhulebino region of the SEAD of Moscow and to Lyubertsy town in the Moscow region (Gorodok B microdistrict). When opened, the station will be the second one located outside Moscow (after the Myakinino station) and also the second one having exits to several settlements (after the Novokosino station), and the first one with exits located in three settlements simultaneously.
